Karan Johar lauds 'Dedh Ishqiya', Shah Rukh Khan to watch it soon

New Delhi: The verdict on Abhishek Chaubey's much-anticipated film 'Dedh Ishqiya' is out. While the critics have extolled it as a "genuinely smart film", "deliciously dark film", "rich cinematic experience" and "a gripping fare", celebrities are busy tweeting their perspectives.

Karan Johar was quick to take to Twitter to tell his followers how much he liked the film. The filmmaker not only appreciated the film for its script and actors' powerful performances, but also urged the viewers to watch it. "#DedhIshqiya is a marvel of a Movie!!! outstandingly written and brilliantly performed!!! Go make it your weekend watch guys!!! (sic)," his tweet read.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who has just returned from Dubai, too tweeted his desire to watch the film. "Hearing such wonderful things about Dedh Ishqian. And today per chance bumped into Naseer bhai & the beautiful Madhuri. Want to see it NOW!! (sic)," his tweet read.

In the sequel to 2010 'Ishqiya', 'Dedh Ishqiya' that released on Friday, Madhuri's chemistry with actress Huma Qureshi has got more accolades compared to her 'jodi' with Naseeruddin Shah. (With inputs from IANS)
